 When a medication dosage is due the unit creates a visual (blinking light) and auditory (tone) alert. If the medicine is not removed within 20 minutes the unit notifies our monitoring center who then attempt to contact the client. If unable to contact the client, the monitoring center will call a family member, neighbor, EMS - whomever the client specifies.
